To communicate to parents where the expected level of achievement is for their child, levels must be set in the Levels/Expectations overview page. The expected level of achievement will show on the Home page as a blue circle.
Note, schools who would like to set up their Levels/expectations pages or make changes to these need to contact LINC-ED through the Help button in their site to have the page unlocked. Unlocking the page will remove the ability for teachers to see or click goals.
To set expectations for your school go to Admin tools > Menu > Level/Expectations Overview
Tabs at the top of the page allow you to choose the subject that you would like to change.
For each subject, you can drag the sliders underneath each level to change whether it is well below, below, at or above expectation. The colours change to indicate the expectation set. These will save automatically so that all future assessments will be aligned to your changes. Student graphs will be updated to reflect the changes you have made.
If you only wish to change how many levels are below the At expectation indicators, you can enter the number in the field below the sliders and click save. Refresh your page to view your changes.
To rename a level, click on the box you would like to change and enter the new wording. Click save and your new wording will be set for the whole school.
The wording of the 'Category within progressions/ goals' field must exactly match the wording of the goals categories within the Goals area of your site and in most cases, this will be Level 1, Level 2, Level 3 etc...
You may also wish to review the field called 'Short label to use on charts' to ensure this is brief.
